Baccarat Codes

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below 10 are counted at face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is one. Bets are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the two hands to be dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the total of the two cards, however the beginning number is dropped. For example, a hand of 5 and six has a value of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A additional card can be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or bank achieves a score of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has 5 or less, she hits. Players stands otherwise.

- If the gambler stays, the banker takes a card on a total lower than five. If the gambler takes a card, a chart is used to figure out if the banker stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19:20 (equal cash less a 5% rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you quit the game so be sure to still have money around before you leave). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1 to 1. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pay 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a poor bet as a tie occurs lower than 1 in every ten hands. Be cautious of wagering on a tie. Although odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 versus 8:1)

Bet on correctly baccarat chemin de fer provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games Baccarat has a handful of familiar myths. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of future outcomes. Keeping track of previous results on a chart is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our paper needs.

The most established and possibly the most accomplished method is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This technique is employed to pump up earnings and limit losses.

Start by wagering one unit. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have 6 on the game table, take away four so you have two on the third bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd round, deposit 2 on the 4 on the game table for a total of six on the fourth round.

Should you don’t win on the first bet, you take a hit of one. A win on the 1st wager followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a defeat on the third provides you with a gain of two. And wins on the initial three with a defeat on the 4th means you experience no loss. Winning all 4 wagers leaves you with twelve, a take of ten. This means you are able to squander the 2nd round 5 instances for each favorable streak of 4 bets and still experience no loss.
