Baccarat Standards

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards under 10 are give a value of their printed number while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they strictly represent the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for any hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For example, a hand of 7 as well as 5 has a value of 2 (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A third card could be given out depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, each players stand.

- If the gambler has five or lower, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores is the winner. Victorious bets on the banker payout nineteen to twenty (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have money left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winning bets for tie as a rule pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9 to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties will happen less than one every 10 hands. abstain from betting on a tie. Even so odds are significantlly better – nine to 1 versus 8 to 1)

When done properly, baccarat offers relatively decent odds, aside from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is in no way an actual indicator of future outcomes. Monitoring of old results on a chart is definitely a complete waste of paper as well as an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most common and possibly most successful strategy is the one-three-two-six method. This technique is deployed to accentuate successes and minimizing risk.

start by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. Thus you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
