Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued less than 10 are said to be worth their printed value while 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual persons; they merely portray the two hands to be dealt).

2 hands of 2 cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the sum total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For e.g., a hand of seven and 5 produces a tally of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be given out depending on the following standards:

- If the player or banker has a value of 8 or nine, each bettors stand.

- If the player has five or less, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the player hits, a chart shall be used to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to 20 (even odds less a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure you have $$$$$ remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie customarily pay out 8 to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is not a good wager as ties happen less than one every ten hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are actually better – nine to 1 versus eight to one)

Played properly, baccarat presents pretty decent odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some established myths. One of which is quite similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually an indicator of future outcomes. Tracking of prior results on a chart is simply a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most commonly used and feasibly most successful tactic is the 1-3-2-6 scheme. This method is used to magnify wins and limiting risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third gamble, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a value of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the 2nd will create a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you breakeven. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. Thus that you can fail to win the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
