Baccarat Chemin de Fer Standards

Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards below ten are counted at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of one (five plus six = eleven; ditch the first ‘1′).

A 3rd card may be dealt based on the following rules:

- If the player or house gets a value of eight or 9, the two players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he takes a card. Players stays otherwise.

- If the gambler stands, the house hits on five or lower. If the gambler hits, a table is used to decide if the bank stays or takes a card.

Punto Banco Odds

The larger of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19 to 20 (equal cash less a 5 percent commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out once you leave the table so ensure you still have money left over before you leave). Winning wagers on the gambler pays 1 to 1. Winning bets for tie frequently pays 8 to 1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties occur lower than one in every 10 hands. Be cautious of betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for nine to one vs. eight to one)

Wagered on properly punto banco gives fairly decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Banque Strategy

As with all games punto banco has a handful of general myths. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a fore-teller of future actions. Tracking past outcomes at a table is a bad use of paper and an insult to the tree that gave its life for our paper desires.

The most accepted and likely the most accomplished scheme is the one, three, two, six method. This technique is deployed to maximize profits and minimizing risk.

Begin by placing 1 dollar. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the game table for a sum total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you win you will now have 6 on the game table, subtract 4 so you have two on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 on the four on the game table for a total of 6 on the 4th wager.

Should you lose on the initial wager, you take a hit of one. A profit on the 1st bet followed by a loss on the 2nd brings about a hit of two. Wins on the initial two with a hit on the third gives you with a gain of two. And success on the first three with a defeat on the fourth means you are even. Succeeding at all four rounds gives you with 12, a gain of 10. This means you are able to squander the second round 5 times for every favorable streak of 4 bets and in the end, break even.
