Baccarat Regulations

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards. Cards that are valued under 10 are said to be worth face value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they just represent the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards will now be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for each hand will be the sum total of the two cards, but the initial digit is dumped. For example, a hand of seven and five will have a score of two (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A third card can be given out depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the player or banker has a total score of 8 or 9, then both players stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the player hits, a chart will be used in order to see if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have money remaining before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie customarily pays out at eight to 1 but occasionally nine to 1. (This is a bad wager as ties will occur less than one every 10 hands. abstain from wagering on a tie. Regardless odds are especially better – 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

When done accurately, baccarat offers pretty good odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some well-known myths. One of which is very similar to a roulette misconception. The past is not an actual indicator of future results. Monitoring of previous conclusions on a chart is a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most accepted and possibly most successful strategy is the 1-3-2-6 concept. This method is used to magnify profits and reducing risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have 2 on the 3rd gamble. If you win the third gamble, add two to the four on the table for a sum of 6 on the 4th gamble.

If you lose on the 1st bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Accomplishing a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Therefore that you can lose the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
