Punto Banco Rules
Baccarat banque is bet on with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than 10 are worth face value while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘house’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a total of 1 (five plus 6 = eleven; ignore the initial ‘1′).
A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the following rules:
- If the gambler or banker gets a value of 8 or nine, both players stay.
- If the player has five or less, he hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the player holds, the bank takes a card on five or less. If the gambler takes a card, a guide is used to see if the house stays or takes a card.

The better of the 2 totals wins. Winning wagers on the bank pay out 19:20 (equal cash minus a five percent commission. Commission are kept track of and paid off when you depart the table so ensure you still have money around before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays out at 1:1. Winning wagers for tie typically pay 8 to 1 but occasionally nine to one. (This is a poor wager as ties occur less than 1 in every 10 rounds. Avoid gambling on a tie. Baccarat Method
As with all games punto banco has quite a few common false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not an indicator of future outcomes. Recording previous outcomes on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary needs.
The most accepted and likely the most successful plan is the 1-3-2-6 method. This plan is used to pump up earnings and limit risk.
Begin by betting one chip. If you win, add another to the two on the table for a sum of 3 units on the second bet. Should you win you will have six on the game table, remove 4 so you keep two on the 3rd bet. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, deposit two on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.
If you do not win on the first bet, you take a loss of 1. A win on the first bet followed by a loss on the second creates a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a hit on the third gives you with a take of 2. And wins on the initial 3 with a defeat on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all 4 rounds gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you will be able to lose the second wager five times for each favorable streak of 4 wagers and still are even.
