Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under 10 are of their printed value while ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they simply represent the 2 hands to be given out).

Two hands of 2 cards will then be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The value for each hand will be the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven as well as 5 results in a tally of 2 (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be played depending on the following regulations:

- If the bettor or banker has a value of eight or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores is the winner. Successful bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even odds minus a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie as a rule pays out at 8 to one but occasionally nine to one. (This is a terrible bet as ties occur lower than one every ten hands. Run away from betting on a tie. Regardless odds are significantly better – nine to one versus 8 to 1)

When done accurately, baccarat provides generally decent odds, away from the tie bet ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about every games, Baccarat has some well-known false impressions. One of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is not an indicator of future happenings. Monitoring of previous results on a chart is for sure a total waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and probably most successful strategy is the 1-three-2-6 concept. This schema is employed to maximize earnings and minimizing risk.

start by gambling 1 unit. If you win, add 1 more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have 2 on the third wager. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a sum of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second creates a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
