Baccarat Rules

Baccarat is bet on with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards under ten are worth their printed value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and six has a value of one (five plus six equals 11; drop the initial ‘1′).

A third card could be given out using the rules below:

- If the gambler or house gets a score of eight or 9, the two players stay.

- If the gambler has 5 or less, she hits. Players otherwise stay.

- If the gambler stays, the banker takes a card on five or lower. If the player hits, a guide is used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Chemin de Fer Odds

The higher of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19:20 (even money minus a 5 percent commission. Commission are recorded and cleared out when you depart the table so make sure you still have money remaining before you head out). Winning bets on the player pays out at one to one. Winning wagers for a tie normally pays 8:1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen less than 1 in every ten hands. Avoid gambling on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for 9:1 versus 8:1)

Played properly baccarat banque provides fairly decent odds, aside from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Banque Method

As with all games Baccarat has quite a few accepted false impressions. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of events about to happen. Tracking previous results on a chart is a waste of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper needs.

The most familiar and possibly the most accomplished course of action is the 1-3-2-6 plan. This tactic is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.

Begin by placing one unit. If you succeed, add another to the two on the game table for a sum total of three chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have 6 on the table, pull off four so you keep two on the 3rd bet. Should you succeed on the 3rd round, put down two on the four on the game table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.

Should you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A profit on the initial wager followed by a loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a hit on the third gives you with a take of 2. And success on the first three with a defeat on the 4th means you break even. Winning at all 4 wagers leaves you with 12, a profit of 10. This means you will be able to not win on the 2nd bet 5 instances for every successful streak of four rounds and in the end, balance the books.
