Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards which are of a value less than 10 are of face value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual players; they purely symbolize the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards will then be dealt to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the grand total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven and five will have a total of two (7plus5=twelve; drop the ‘1′).

A 3rd card can be dealt depending on the foll. rules:

- If the player or banker has a tally of 8 or 9, each gamblers stand.

- If the player has 5 or lower, he hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of 5 or lesser. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the 2 scores will be the winner. Successful bets on the banker payout nineteen to 20 (even money less a five % commission. Commission is followed closely and moved out when you leave the table so make sure to have money remaining before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie generally pay out eight to 1 but occasionally nine to 1. (This is an awful bet as ties occur lower than 1 every 10 hands. be wary of laying money on a tie. However odds are significantly better – nine to one vs. 8 to 1)

When played properly, baccarat offers relatively good odds, apart from the tie bet of course.

Baccarat Tactics

As with every games, Baccarat has some well-known misconceptions. One of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is in no way an indicator of future events. Staying abreast of prior results on a chart is undoubtedly a complete waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life to be used as our stationary.

The most established and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-3-two-6 method. This schema is deployed to build up winnings and controlling risk.

commence by betting one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of 6 on the fourth wager.

If you lose on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the first bet quickly followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. Arriving at a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words that you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
